About Howard Bentham...

Howard Bentham is a Stadium Announcer, Radio & TV Presenter, Voiceover, Event Host and Media Trainer.

Howard’s work as a Stadium Announcer has taken him to four Olympic & Paralympic Games, the Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games as well as prestigious global tournaments such as the Rugby Union and Rugby League World Cups, the European Rugby Champions Cup Final, Women’s Hockey World Cup and the BWF Badminton World Championships.

 

Howard was the main presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and has worked at BBC Radio 5 Live and a number of BBC Local Radio and commercial stations. He was the Breakfast Show Presenter for a decade at BBC Hereford & Worcester and had lengthy stints as the flagship presenter on BBC Radio Oxford and FM102 The Bear in the Midlands.

 

Howard is an accomplished newsreader – on both radio and TV – and was also part of the BBC cricket commentary team providing ball-by-ball coverage of Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

As an Event Host, Howard brings personality and passion to the role and has worked for a wide range of organisations including the NHS, Chamber of Commerce and various World, Continental and National Sporting Governing Bodies and Federations.

Howard is a distinctive voiceover for commercials, TV & radio promos, corporate and educational resources and a wide range of audio applications.

Aside from being a seasoned broadcaster, Howard uses his experience of being a qualified teacher in his role as a Media Trainer. He is able to provide to corporate clients proactive, storytelling and confidence-building training in addition to crisis management and message development skills.
